Stayed at a "cozy" flat with a "wonderful" view of a construction site. Centrally located, I could easily walk to the train station and a cafe that somehow sells more tea than water.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a heating system that loves surprising me with its unique timing. Chilly mornings and midnight heat, what a delightful combination!

The 2-bedroom apartment at Micklegate Residence was absolutely fantastic! It had everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. The living room was cozy and had a flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day. The fully equipped kitchen was great for preparing meals. The apartment also had 2 bathrooms, which was really convenient, and even a washing machine!

Personally, I found the washing machine a bit noisy. But hey, that's just my opinion!

The location of the residence was excellent - within walking distance to most attractions and shops. It was also conveniently close to grocery stores. The apartment had a lot of character and was decorated with Christmas ornaments, which was a nice surprise. The welcome box with local treats was a lovely touch, and the beds were comfortable. The communication with the hosts was quick and they were able to answer all our questions.

While the apartment had its charm, there were some areas that needed improvement. The ensuite door and wardrobe doors did not close properly, which was inconvenient.

I had a great stay, with location in a quiet area.
